I would like to introduce myself, I am Mike Moats, an award winning, professional Nature Photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I started in photography as a hobby in 2001 and it quickly grew into a full time business. I began marketing myself four years ago and have been very pleased with my rapid progress. To date I’ve had articles and images published in, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Nature Photographer Magazine, Nature’s Best Magazine, Whispher In The Woods, Photo Life, Michigan Game Finder and Fujifilms Newsletter (Cable Release), two images on front covers, books and calenders. I’m proud to have won international and local awards, and in 2006 was asked to join the Fuji Pro Talent Team.  I am the moderator of the macro forum at  www.birdphotographers.net  and www.naturephotographers.net/.  I just published my first how-to macro photography book, called “Tiny Landscapes” and  in 2006 I started Close-Up/Macro Photography Workshops .  www.tinylandscapes.com.
